Data Deletion Policy
You can have your SharEarn account and your personal details deleted at any time, for any reason, without giving one. This page is the route, the timing, and an honest account of the little that cannot go.
Last updated: 30 September 2026 · Effective: 30 September 2026
How to ask
If you want only part of it gone — your photo, your business details, your membership of an organisation, or your place in an earning programme — say which, and we will do that instead of closing the account. See partial deletion below.
You can also write to us at ZRIX INC., 17926 HWY 3, Suite 104B, Webster, TX 77598, United States, or telephone 800-796-2735. Email is faster.
There is no delete button in the app yet
We would rather tell you that than dress it up. Deletion today is handled by the email route on this page, by a person, and it works — this page is the route, and it is the one we honour. A self-service control in the app is being built. Until it ships, nothing on this page depends on it.
How we check it is really you
We will send a one-time code on WhatsApp to the number on the account, and ask you to send it back to us. That is the check.
We do it because acting on somebody else's word would be the bigger privacy failure — a deletion cannot be undone, and we are not going to erase your account because a stranger asked us to. If you have lost access to that number, tell us and we will find another way to be satisfied it is you; it will take longer, and we may have to decline if we cannot be sure.
How long it takes
| Step | When |
|---|---|
| We acknowledge your email | Within 7 days |
| We send the verification code | With the acknowledgement |
| Your account stops working | Within 24 hours of you confirming |
| Your personal details are deleted from our live systems | Within 30 days of you confirming |
| We confirm in writing that it is done | With the deletion |
| Encrypted backups containing your details age out | Within 90 days, on a fixed cycle |
Backups are the honest exception. We do not reach into a backup to pick one person out — doing so would risk everybody else's data in it. Backups are encrypted, are not used to run the service, are never mined, and roll off on the cycle above. If a backup is restored for a disaster in that window, we re-apply your deletion to the restored system.
If a request is unusually complicated we may need longer, up to a further 60 days. We will tell you inside the first 30 days if that happens, and why.
What is deleted
- Your name, phone number and photo.
- Your business name, logo, designation, business phone and address line.
- Your account, and your ability to sign in.
- Your earning ledger, and the click and conversion records behind it.
- Your membership of any organisation on SharEarn, and your activity in that organisation's reporting.
- Any preferences and saved settings on your account.
- Any support correspondence that identifies you, once it is no longer needed to deal with your request.
Where something cannot be deleted outright because it is bound into a record we must keep, it is anonymised instead — cut loose from you, so that what remains cannot be traced back.
What cannot be deleted, and why
- Cards you already shared. They are in other people's chats, statuses and feeds. They were never ours to reach, and they are not yours to recall either. Nothing we do here removes them.
- Payment and tax records. If you paid us, tax and accounting law requires us to keep the record of that payment for a set period. We keep the record, not your profile, and we delete it when the period ends.
- Anonymous counts. Aggregate figures — how many cards were rendered on a day, how many shelves were used — carry nothing about you and stay. Your row is gone from them; the total does not shrink by one name because there is no name in it.
- Records needed for a live legal matter. If there is a dispute, an investigation or a legal hold involving your account, we keep what that requires, and only for as long as it requires. We will tell you if this applies to you.
- Encrypted backups, for up to 90 days, as described above.
If you want only part of it gone
You do not have to close your account to stop something. Any of these can be done on its own, on the same email route, and take effect within 30 days:
- Remove your photo — your cards fall back to your initials. You can also do this yourself in the app, at once.
- Remove your business details — your cards go back to personal.
- Leave an organisation — its reporting stops including you from that point.
- Leave an earning programme — tracking on your links stops. Tell us whether you want the existing ledger kept or deleted.
- Stop non-essential messages — you will still get the one-time codes you need to sign in.
If you publish designs
Deleting your creator account removes you — your name, your contact details, your creator profile and your account.
What happens to your artwork is a separate decision, and it is yours to make. Tell us which you want:
- Unpublish everything — your designs come off the shelves and no new card can be made from them. This is what we do if you do not say.
- Leave them published — your designs stay on the shelves under the licence in the Terms, with your creator credit anonymised.
Either way, cards already rendered from your designs have already been shared, and neither of us can recall those.
If you run an organisation
An organisation account is closed on the written request of someone authorised to act for it. That removes the organisation's shelves, its private designs and its member reporting.
It does not delete the individual accounts of your members, who are our users in their own right and hold their own rights under this page. Their membership of your organisation ends; their SharEarn account is theirs to keep or delete.
If your company uses the API
There is nothing about your end users for us to delete, because we never stored any of it. The details arrive, the card is rendered, and the card goes back. Deleting an API account removes the client account, its keys and its billing profile.
If your own users ask you to delete their data, that request is yours to honour in your own system. Nothing has to come to us for it, and there is nothing here for us to find.
What it costs, and what happens after
Nothing, and we will not treat you worse, offer you a worse price, or refuse you a service because you asked. You can make a new SharEarn account with the same phone number afterwards — it will be a new account, empty, with nothing carried over.
Proof that it happened
When it is done we email you to say so, and what was deleted. Keep that message. If you ever need it for an app store, a regulator or your own records, it is the evidence.
If we get it wrong
Tell us — info@zrix.com — and we will fix it. If that does not settle it, you can go to the Grievance Officer named in the Privacy Policy, and beyond that to the Data Protection Board of India, your national supervisory authority in Europe or the UK, or the California Privacy Protection Agency, depending on where you are.
